The chairman at the Commitee for Sport at the Deutsche Bundestag (German Parliament) Dagmar Freitag, critisized the sport broadcasting policy of German State Owned TV. Nearly Football, Pro-Boxing  and Wintersport only. The German TV has a mission to broadcast all sports (see link in German below).

This is something again and again raised between politics such as by Manfred von Richthoven, former Head of German Sportfederation who demanded a German Sport TV for all sports.
